Membership
The FBC's current membership consists of 6 counties: 13 cities, and 1 special authorities. Below is a link to each member jurisdiction as well as a link to a Membership Map.
Benefits provided to FBC members include:
1) Unlimited access to an online data base of local government-driven survey data on member driven request for information on performance data, process improvement and more. The monthly member surveys provide not just a repository of data, but also data analysis and reporting tools, which can lead to more detailed and timely data sharing.
2) FBC offers an annual Conference each October and a Pre-Conference Workshop Training. Additional training opportunities are planned each year. Leaders from FBC member local governments are eligible for reduced registration rates at these important FBC networking and training events.
3) FBC is very much a volunteer led and volunteer directed organization. As a result, the FBC offers a whole host of opportunities for participants to engage in and personally benefit from serving as volunteer leaders on the FBC Board of Directors, standing committees and working with service area leads.
4) The FBC is committed to providing its members with the training and tools to make the most use of the data collected to improve the processes and monetary saving in their organizations. Therefore, we offer a robust Lean Six Sigma Training program with offerings of Yellow Belt, Green Belt, Green Belt Team Leader and Black Belt Certification. In addition, we offer Data Driven Strategic Plan training and individual assistance.
5) FBC is an excellent networking organization for local government professionals interested in performance measurement, benchmarking, performance management, process improvement and organizational excellence. Our FBC leaders are encouraged to communicate, collaborate and improve both the FBC's services and local government services in Florida.
