The Grants Sub-committee provides oversight to grant funded projects, such as the grant project with the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation for engaging citizens in the development and reporting of performance measures to the public. The sub-committee's specific tasks include:

Providing guidance on grant oppurtunities

Assisting in the development of grant proposals and the scope of work

Assisting in the recruitment and selection of a project coordinator (manager)

Assisting in the development of the project work-plan after the grant has been secured

Assisting the project coordinator (manager) in executing the project work-plan

Assisting the project coordinator in evaluating the project once the work-plan has been completed

Representing the FBC to potential grantors as well as nurturing further relationships with existing/past grantors
